The routes description and/or newsletter is only intended as a guide to where routes are.  Once you become a member, you will receive a copy of your local map along with your License Tag. License Tags MUST be attached to either the Saddle or Bridle at all times whilst on EAFR Tracks.

Route Descriptions

 farm rides anglia essex suffolk norfolkAREA 1 COLCHESTER TO HALSTEAD.
This area is well covered with routes starting in Boxted, West Bergholt via Little Horkesley, Wormingford, Fordham, Chapel, Wakes Colne to Halstead. Extra routes from Aldham, Eight Ash Green through to Great Tey. New Routes have now been opened in Fordham.

AREA 2 COLCHESTER - PELDON - MALDON - TOTHAM - WICKHAM BISHOPS.
There is now a very extensive set of routes in these areas. Ride along the sea wall at Tollesbury or through the beautiful grounds of Braxted Park. Other routes in Peldon, Langford and Tolleshunt.

AREA 2A MERSEA ISLAND.
We now have 3 miles of route on the Mersea Island, providing a vital link to the only Public Bridleway on the Island. Further routes planned in the near future.

AREA 4 BRAINTREE.
10 miles of routes to be enjoyed in this area beginning in Halstead. Riders are able to rider through High Garrett, Gosfield and Beazley End.

AREA 5 TENDRING DISTRICT.
We have now opened 12 miles of new routes in this area much to the delight of horse riders. Our routes now cover the area from  Little Bromley to Horsley Cross and Little Bentley.  We are also investigateing a new Route at Elmstead Market as the Woodland Trust is now creating a new Woodland alongside between the A120 & A 133.

AREA 6. DENGIE PENNINSULA.
We have just  over 12 miles of Routes in this new Area, including routes down to the Sea Wall.
